No Big Gala, but please consider supporting the Meat Raffle

Good Morning,
This time of year would normally be full of planning and excitement for the Big Gala. We have had tremendous sucess over the last years with the support of yourself and friends. Since 2006, this event has helped raised over $658, 816 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lethbridge and District to enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people. We have had to make the difficult decision this year to not hold the in-person event. Despite this cancellation, Big Brothers Big Sisters still requires donations from local individuals and businesses in order to continually deliver our mentoring programs to over 600 children in Lethbridge and District.
We are very excited that we will be holding our Annual Meat Raffle online! Purchase a $10 ticket and you could win a 10.6 Stirling Marathon Freezer and a Napoleon Propane BBQ graciously donated by Leon’s Lethbridge. Along with that Schooten & Sons will fill the freezer full of beef. Total value of this prize is $4,000!!!!! All proceeds from this raffle to go towards Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring programs.
We would like to thank Canadian Tire South, Headwater Equipment, Canadian Western Bank and Marketing Place Commodities for their continued support and belief in what we do by continuing their Title Sponsorships of the Big Gala for this year.
I look forward to the day that we can all be together in person and celebrate mentoring in our community.
Ignite Potential. Ignite Change. We’re #BiggerTogether.

Yours very truly,
